Robert McKernan

President and Chief Executive Officer

Robert McKernan is president and chief executive officer for Intervala where he is responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction and long-term growth. He also is a member of the company’s board of directors.

With more than 20 years of senior executive leadership experience in the industrial technology arena, Rob has earned a reputation for delivering profitable growth, customer satisfaction, portfolio expansion, high-performing teams, and collaborative company cultures. He has significant experience building teams that deliver exceptional levels of customer satisfaction, which is an essential element of Intervala’s culture and business strategy.

Rob joined Intervala in 2025 after more than two decades as a senior executive with Schneider Electric, a $40 billion global company focused on industrial automation and energy management, where he most recently served as president of one the company’s most rapidly growing global business units. Earlier in his career, he held various commercial and operational roles at Oki Electric, Philips Electronics and American Power Conversion.

He holds a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Randy Lainhart

Randy Lainhart

Chief Commercial Officer

Randy Lainhart is chief commercial officer for Intervala where he is responsible for leading the company’s growth initiatives, including business expansion with current customers, new customer attainment and the pursuit of other growth mechanisms such as strategic acquisitions and business partnerships.

He previously served as vice president of business development responsible for the advancement of Intervala’s growth initiatives within the defense, medical, industrial and other select markets. Randy joined Intervala in 2017.

During his extensive career in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry, Randy has built a strong, industry proven track record for leading EMS providers in the consistent achievement of their growth objectives. In addition to his sales and marketing experience, he has provided strategic leadership in the areas of program management, estimating, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Intervala, Randy served as vice president of sales for i3 Electronics Inc., a vertically integrated provider of high-performance electronic solutions. His winning track record also includes implementing successful business development strategies as vice president of sales and marketing for Catalyst Manufacturing Inc. and OnCore Manufacturing LLC, where he was directly responsible for the discovery and development of new customer accounts and leading the companies’ marketing direction.

Randy holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Binghamton University.

Matt McDaniel

Matt McDaniel

Chief Financial Officer

Matt McDaniel is chief financial officer for Intervala where he leads all financial activities, including business planning, finance and accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, risk and governance, and is responsible for managing the company’s relationships with external financial partners and stakeholders. He is a strategic, operationally focused executive with more than 20 years of experience serving in financial leadership and advisory roles with both privately held and publicly held manufacturing companies.

Prior to joining Intervala in 2024, Matt operated an independent management and financial consultancy serving small to mid-size, privately held businesses as well as government agencies. He previously was employed as vice president of finance for Ross International and served as CFO for Packaging Specialists LLC (now part of Packaging Corporation of America). He began his career in public accounting as auditor-in-charge with Schneider Downs & Co. Inc.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Robert Morris University and is a certified public accountant.

Eric Sicard

Eric Sicard

Director of Business Development

Eric Sicard is director of business development for Intervala. He joined the company in 2020 and is responsible for the advancement of its strategic business development initiatives within the defense, medical, industrial and other select markets. Eric previously served as senior business development manager for Intervala before being promoted to his current position in 2025.

During his 25-year career in the electronics manufacturing industry, Eric has built a strong and diverse background in a variety of manufacturing disciplines ranging from business development, sales and program management to new product introduction to supply chain management, sourcing, and product costing.

He joined Intervala from TT Electronics PLC where he served as market development manager responsible for securing new customer accounts. He previously was employed as strategic account manager for C&D Electronics Inc. Prior to entering the business development field, Eric spent 10 years in supply chain management, serving as vice president of supply chain for API Defense USA Inc. and director of sourcing for OnCore Manufacturing, now part of NEOTech Inc.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is an IPC Certified EMS Program Manager.

Chris Samios

Chris Samios

Director of Design Engineering

Chris Samios is director of design engineering for Intervala, where he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s design, quality, test and new product introduction areas. Chris has more than 25 years of engineering experience in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry.

Prior to joining Intervala at its inception in 2016, Chris was director of design and test engineering for Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc., and its predecessor LaBarge, Inc., in Pittsburgh, Pa., a vertically integrated contract manufacturer of printed circuit board assemblies, electronic and electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical and machined products. He previously spent 18 years with Raytheon JPS Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Raytheon Company that designed, manufactured and sold electronic hardware and software products to enhance the effectiveness of communication systems. During his time with JPS, Chris held a series of progressively responsible engineering positions, including engineering manager for the product engineering area. He was granted a U.S. patent for designs used in a JPS communications system. Chris previously worked as an electrical engineer for Hatch Mott MacDonald and Union Switch and Signal.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.

Bill Nolan

Bill Nolan

Director of Supply Chain

Bill Nolan serves as director of supply chain for Intervala where he is responsible for leading the company’s supply chain operations across multiple sites, including the strategic purchasing and inventory of raw materials, selection and evaluation of vendors, and distribution of finished goods.

Bill has more than 30 years of experience in electronic supply chain operations. He previously was director of supply chain and program management for TMG Electronics, Inc. Before joining TMG in 2015, Bill served for 12 years as materials manager for Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc., and its predecessor LaBarge, Inc., in Pittsburgh, Pa., a $100 million vertically integrated contract manufacturer of printed circuit board assemblies, electronic and electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical and machined products.

Before joining LaBarge, Bill worked as director of logistics for Inrange Technology Corporation. He previously was employed for 15 years as materials manager for Black Box Corporation where he was the project lead on Black Box Brazil’s greenfield startup and was responsible for the infrastructure development and hiring of all new employees within the venture.

Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Duquesne University. He earned a Certificate of Production and Inventory Management from the American Production and Inventory Control Society.

Steve LeCour

Steve LeCour

Director of Quality and Compliance

Steve LeCour is director of quality and compliance for Intervala, where he ensures that products manufactured by the company meet all necessary quality and regulatory requirements. He also directs the company’s quality management system and continuous improvement initiatives. Steve is an accomplished operational excellence leader with more than three decades of quality, engineering and operations leadership experience in the high-complexity electronics manufacturing arena.

Steve joined Intervala in 2022 with the company’s acquisition of EPE Corporation where he served as director of quality and compliance. He previously was employed as plant manager for Zollner Group, formerly EIT Incorporated, and director of operations for Secure Care Products Inc. During his extensive career, Steve also held operations and engineering leadership positions with Colonial Electronics Inc., SCI Systems Inc. and BAE Systems.

Steve holds a master’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Boston University, an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor of engineering in industrial technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Michael Lancaster

Michael Lancaster

Director of Information Technology

Michael Lancaster joined Intervala in 2020 and serves as the company’s director of information technology (IT). In this role, Mike is responsible for the management, strategy and execution of the company’s IT infrastructure and systems, including all business systems, application development, business intelligence and cyber security.

Mike is a business-focused IT leader with more than 20 years of experience in implementing strategic, technology-driven organizational evolution, growth and value for internal and external stakeholders. Before joining Intervala, he was director of IT for Arsenal Resources and previously spent more than 13 years in progressively responsible IT positions for EQT Corporation.  

He earned an MBA from Duquesne University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Michelle Monroe

Michelle Monroe

Director of Human Resources

Michelle Monroe is director of human resources for Intervala. In this role, she is responsible for leading all areas of HR strategies and operations, including employee engagement, recognition, development and retention, HRIS, employee and partner relations, training and development and compliance. She is a career HR business partner with more than 25 years of professional experience supporting the operational vision through HR initiatives that improve performance, employee engagement and growth.

Michelle joined Intervala in 2023 from MSA Safety, Inc., the global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of safety products and solutions that protect people and facility infrastructures. She most recently served as global shared services leader for MSA Safety after working as manager, HR business partners for the company. Michelle previously was employed in HR roles with Westinghouse Electric Company, Unison Administrative Services, LLC, and Bombardier.

Michelle earned a master’s degree in human resources management from La Roche University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) organization and serves on the board of directors of the Westmoreland Human Resources Association, a local SHRM affiliate. She is Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®)-certified.

Aubrey Moore

Aubrey Moore

Contracts Manager

Aubrey Moore is contracts manager for Intervala, where she is responsible for overseeing the preparation of commercial and DoD contracts in accordance with company and customer requirements, confidentiality obligations, and legal regulations including those required for ITAR compliance.

Aubrey joined Intervala in 2023 from WNS Denali, a market leader in procurement and supply chain advisory, where she served as a contracts associate supporting Meta, Inc. She previously was employed as procurement project manager with Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., a prime contractor for the United States Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.

Aubreyholds a master’s degree in legal studies from Pennsylvania Western University and bachelor’s degrees in finance and French from Grove City College.

Joe Benz

Joe Benz

Vice President of Quality & Customer Care, MOUNT PLEASANT, PA.

Joe Benz is director of operations for Intervala’s manufacturing operation in Mount Pleasant, Pa. He leads the facility’s production, production control and manufacturing engineering functions and directs continuous improvement initiatives and programs for the organization. Joe’s career in operations management and engineering includes more than 30 years of professional experience in the manufacture of printed circuit board assemblies, electromechanical equipment and heavy mechanical assemblies for a variety of technology-driven industries, including medical, industrial, commercial and military.

Joe joined Intervala in 2018 from Conelec Electronic Manufacturing where as vice president of operations he was responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process and drove operational excellence throughout the business. He previously served as operations manager for Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc., and its predecessor LaBarge, Inc., in Pittsburgh, Pa., a $100 million vertically integrated contract manufacturer of printed circuit board assemblies, electronic and electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical and machined products. Prior to that, Joe held operations management and engineering positions with Sound Technology Inc., C-COR, Inc., and Moog Inc. 

Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York.

Mike Leroch

Director of Program Management, Mount Pleasant, Pa.

Mike Leroch is director of program management for Intervala’s manufacturing operation in Mount Pleasant, Pa., where he leads the site’s program management function and staff. He has more than 20 years of experience identifying and solving technical issues for customers in a variety of technology-driven industries.

Mike joined Intervala in 2003 as a senior electronics technician and worked as a systems/ design engineer before moving into program management for the company in 2007. He was promoted to lead program manager in 2017 and to customer development manager in 2020. Mike previously was employed by II-VI Incorporated (now Coherent Corp.) as a manufacturing test engineer.

Mike attended The Pennsylvania State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Timothy Stammely

Director of Program Management, Manchester, N.H.

Timothy Stammely is director of program management for Intervala’s Manchester, N.H., manufacturing operation, where he leads the site’s program management function and staff. His accomplished career reflects nearly 30 years of experience in operations management, process engineering, NPI management, supplier management and business process improvement for companies within the electrical and electronics manufacturing industry.

Tim joined Intervala in 2023 from MKS Instruments, Inc., where he served as principal value analysis engineer. He previously was employed in senior program management roles with leading EMS and OEM providers, including Mercury Systems, Inc., and Benchmark Electronics, Inc., among others.

Tim attended The Pennsylvania State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.

James Dugan

James Dugan

Director of Operations, Manchester, N.H.

James Dugan is director of operations for Intervala’s Manchester, N.H., manufacturing operation. He leads the facility’s production, planning and production control functions.  

Jim’s career in the high-tech manufacturing sector spans more than 35 years and includes extensive experience in the manufacture of printed circuit boards assemblies, cable and harness assemblies, higher-level electronic products, medical products and capital equipment for customers in the commercial, industrial, medical, energy and aerospace and defense markets.

Jim joined Intervala in 2024 from Lightspeed Manufacturing where he served as general manager. He previously was employed in a series of progressively responsible positions in the U.S. and China, including director of worldwide manufacturing for a division of Emerald Technologies and as director of manufacturing for the former International Totalizing Systems. Early in his career, Jim worked in engineering leadership roles with Siemens Medical Systems USA and Teradyne Inc.

Robert Davies is director of engineering for Intervala’s Manchester, N.H., manufacturing operation. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s design, quality, test and new product introduction areas. Rob has more than 25 years of professional engineering experience in the electrical, electronic and technology manufacturing space across a variety of industries.

Rob joined Intervala in 2023 from Vicor Power Systems, the leader in high-performance power modules, where he served as senior manufacturing engineering manager. Prior to Vicor, he was employed as senior manufacturing process engineer with Mercury Systems, Inc.

During his accomplished career, Rob has worked in a variety of senior engineering and engineering leadership positions with EPE Corporation, Sanmina Corporation, Celestica, Inc. and Flextronics International, Ltd. He holds a Six Sigma black belt from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Mark Roney

Mark Roney

Operations and Materials Manager, Mount Pleasant, Pa.

Mark Roney is operations and materials manager for Intervala’s manufacturing facility in Mount Pleasant, Pa. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production, reduce costs and ensure products meet quality standards while adhering to planned schedules.

Mark has been with Intervala since its inception in 2016. He previously served for 10 years as material control supervisor, then materials manager, for the Pittsburgh, Pa., operation of Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc., and its predecessor LaBarge, Inc., a vertically integrated contract manufacturer of printed circuit board assemblies, electronic and electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical and machined products. Prior to that, he was employed in purchasing and logistics for IDL Merchandising.

Mark is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Mark Spear

Mark Spear is operations and materials manager for Intervala’s manufacturing facility in Manchester, N.H.

In his current role, Mark is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between departments to optimize production flow, control costs and maintain high quality standards. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience within the electronics manufacturing services industry.

Prior to joining Intervala following the company’s acquisition of EPE Corporation in April 2023, Mark spent 15 years with EPE serving as group leader of a box-build line before advancing to senior planner and operations manager roles. He previously worked as a process technician and group leader of a printed circuit board assembly line for Sanmina Corporation.
