Nice weather, check. Fried chicken, check. Fun and games, check. Our Pennsylvania team’s employee picnic checked all the boxes again this year! Employees and their families gathered to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before diving into outdoor games, including cornhole, bingo and our traditional “Closest to the Flamingo” long-drive contest. A fantastic face painter, airbrush tattoo artist and strolling magician added to the fun.

Congratulations to the 10 lucky attendees who took home raffled gift baskets, especially Jason Eddy who won the “5-Nights-Out” grand prize! And cheers to the day’s big winner, Rich McBeth, who dominated the cornhole tournament and the long-drive competition. Many thanks to Jaden’s Catering, Mike the Balloon Guy, Intervala treat makers and our employee association for making this year’s picnic a big hit!

We just wrapped up our 2022 back-to-school supply drive and it was “A”mazing! Thanks to the generosity of our awesome employees, we donated more than 500 items for students in our local school districts. The Intervala team is proud to partner with a variety of organizations in our communities to help make great things happen. Here’s to an incredible new school year for students in the New Kensington-Arnold School District in Westmoreland County, Pa, Northwest Elementary School in Manchester, N.H., and Dr. H.O. Smith School in Hudson, N.H.!

For love of the game (and great food)! Intervala employees enjoyed a tailgate-themed luncheon this week in honor of the three-game series between our local home teams: the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Boston Red Sox. A little friendly rivalry was in play as employees rooted for their favorite team. Everyone stepped up to the “plate” for some incredible food cooked up by Jaden’s Catering in Monroeville, Pa., and KC’s Rib Shack in Manchester, N.H. A great time was had by all – no ifs, ands or “bunts” about it!

Intervala’s at the fair! Set up is now complete and we’re ready for eight days of family fun at the Westmoreland Fair! We have games and giveaways for you to enjoy as you browse exhibits. And on top of that, we’re hiring for a variety of skilled and entry level positions at our new, state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facility in Westmoreland County.
