Kudos to Intervala Quality Engineer Dave Stewart who served as technical content advisor for IPC’s new training video on component identification. The topic is a critical one in electronics manufacturing and many individuals around the world will use the video to learn to identify components. As a leader in electronics manufacturing, Intervala was proud to offer its services to help IPC with creating updated content, and Dave was the right person for the job! The video is now available for purchase from IPC through the IPC EDGE 2 streaming library https://edge.ipc.org/course/component-identification.
There were snowmen and snowflakes, santas and sleighs, a yeti and a unicorn, bears, penguins and gingerbread men. There were Christmas lights, candy canes, pompoms and colorful tassels. There were funny sweaters, traditional sweaters and even tiny sweaters on sweaters. But, by employee vote, the ugliest sweaters of all were those donned by Sarah Martin, Robert Shine and Phil Koelsch in Intervala’s first Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. For their holiday spirit and courage, the winners take home an Omaha Steaks or Honey Baked Ham gift card. Thanks to everyone who participated in this fun event!
What could be better than granting a child’s Christmas wish? Granting thousands of children’s wishes! The Intervala team is proud to join hundreds of companies and individuals across western Pennsylvania in supporting the Salvation Army’s Treasures for Children campaign through donations and volunteerism. Hats off to our own employees whose generous donations of gifts and cash will help children in our community enjoy the special magic of the Christmas season.
Big thanks to Allegheny County, Pa., Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Director of Economic Development Lance Chimka for visiting Intervala in East Pittsburgh today! The two got to see our leading-edge electronics manufacturing operation in action and learned more about how Intervala is creating tech jobs and bringing more business to southwestern Pennsylvania.
