Intervala Employees Advance Skills and Careers With Electronics Technician Training Program

Congratulations to the most recent graduates of our electronics technician training program! Today we honored Intervala employees Ashley Gimigliano, Hannah Grigg, Kelly Hardik, Shawn Harrold, Michael Kempff, Brittany Riggleman, Sean Scantland and Kevin Sulava for completing the first course of a three-level program toward earning their technician certificates. Cheers as well to Angelina McBeth and Richard Stoner who completed the second course of the curriculum!

The program, which Intervala developed in coordination with Westmoreland County Community College, is designed to help our current technicians take their skills to the next level and maintain the high levels of quality and reliability we need on our production floor.

During a ceremony and reception at our Mount Pleasant, Pa., facility, the students received certificates of course completion and were awarded three college credits they can transfer into any program at Westmoreland’s Advanced Technology Center. We congratulate them for their hard work, dedication to learning and the achievement of an important step in their careers!

Additional level-one and level-two courses of this program will start next week, with a level-three course beginning in the fall.

Thanks to Talent Acquisition Specialist Heather Gwynn, who coordinates the training program with the college, and to Director of Engineering Chris Samios and Test Engineer Supervisor Alex Reasinger, who developed the course curriculum and lead all class instruction. The program would not have been possible without these employees’ extraordinary efforts.
