Time to Cast Your Vote in the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” Student Video Contest
Lights! Camera! Take Action! Cast your vote before February 16 for the best student video in this year’s “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” contest. The annual video contest is a STEAM program that pairs up middle school students across Pennsylvania with local companies to create a new perspective on the exciting career opportunities that exist in manufacturing.
Intervala was proud to open its doors to students of J.E. Harrison Middle School in Pittsburgh earlier this year. The students shot most of their video project at our facility and had a chance to interview several Intervala employees about why the field of manufacturing is so important. We loved the opportunity to host these bright young minds and foster their continued interest in the manufacturing industry. “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing” helps the next generation of workers gain a better understanding of what our business is all about. The program is hosted by Catalyst Connection, an economic development organization helping manufacturers in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Help us encourage our community’s future engineers and innovators by casting your vote for the kids from Harrison Middle School! Click here and scroll down to the Baldwin-Whitehall listing to view and vote. Voting will remain open until 5:00 pm ET this Friday, February 16.
