Our annual soup and chili luncheon for employees is one tasty tradition and this week our team members enjoyed heaping bowls of hearty goodness. Successfully putting down roots in our new Westmoreland County, Pa., home would not have been possible without the hard work, sacrifice and positive attitude of our employees and families. So, we hosted a thank you party at our new headquarters! About 350 employees and family members turned out for an all-play-and-no-work day with plenty of fun, food and entertainment. Plus, families got to tour our beautiful new site. Congratulations to employees Baris Metin, Bill Nolan and Darlene Sargent for winning the amazing grand prize drawings! MT. PLEASANT, PA, September 27, 2021—Executives from Intervala and Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC) joined local officials to celebrate the opening of Intervala’s new 217,000 square-foot electronics manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters at RIDC Westmoreland Innovation Center.
The space features a new production floor spanning 125,000 square feet and showcases Intervala’s recent multimillion-dollar investments in top-of-the-line manufacturing equipment, technology tools and software used in manufacturing complex, high performance printed circuit board assemblies, electromechanical systems and cable and harness assemblies.
“Our new Westmoreland site provides Intervala with an exciting platform for growth, allowing us to better serve our customers through expanded capabilities, leading-edge technologies, and enhanced innovation and collaboration,” said Intervala President and CEO Teresa Huber. “Intervala has added more than 100 skilled jobs in the Pittsburgh region in the last five years, and we are continuing to grow. We are grateful to RIDC for its partnership in matching us with a location and space that will comfortably accommodate our future growth and expansion.”

When it comes to fun, the chips are never down at Intervala! We recently treated our teams in Hudson, N.H., and Mount Pleasant, Pa., to entertaining, casino-style employee-appreciation celebrations marking Intervala’s five-year anniversary.
For a few hours, we transformed our facilities into ritzy gaming establishments and “bankrolled” employees’ just-for-fun “wagers,” providing chances to win fabulous gifts and prizes. Thanks to Total Entertainment LLC in Danvers, Mass., and Entertainment Unlimited in Houston, Pa., for providing and staffing the professional-style casino games, and to McNulty & Foley Express & Caterers, Inc. in Nashua, N.H., and Apple Harvest Catering in North Versailles, Pa., for the delicious appetizer buffets and refreshments.
